We found Riviera Resort to be the perfect place for a relaxing few days in Batti, the staff, who are gracious and very attentive, keep the hotel and grounds immaculately clean, the guests happy, and the ambience tranquil. We found the meals to be of excellent quality and reasonably priced - clearly much attention was paid to preparation and the presentation is most appealing. |
Overall, a great place with memorable service. We would recommend Riviera Resort to anyone coming to Batti and will certainly stay again, ourselves, if coming this way again. |

I stayed at the Riviera, Batticaloa for a year and half. What can I say? It was like family to me. Beautiful place - a real stress reliever. I spent many a happy moment with my family and on my own here. |

Our first trip to Batticaloa, Sri Lanka was like a shock at first with all the check points. But we found our peace at the Riviera (with Mrs. Grace Thavarajah and her husband). It is a place where you want to stay longer. Batticaloa is one place we will be coming back to very often, because we have discovered Riviera: beautiful, relaxing and peaceful… |
