Welcome to Riviera Resort, an idyllic, eco-friendly family-run guesthouse / hotel in Batticaloa, on the eastern coast of Sri Lanka.

The Resort was established in 1982 and borne out of the desire to preserve nature and share our picturesque corner of Sri Lanka with guests from all over the world. Riviera Resort, which is within the city limits, has been a labour of love.

It started off as a comfortable family villa and the accommodation has been added to over the years with chalets and simple cabanas.
